My prefered location for assignment - Anywhere

Jobs handled -

Project Engineer - KEC International Ltd.:

KEC, the flagship company of RPG Enterprises is a billion-dollar infrastructure major, providing engineering, procurement and construction services; majorly in areas of power transmission & distribution, telecom, railways and water. I joined the organization as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, quickly progressing to a project engineering role, where I was responsible for contributing towards delivery of international power infrastructure projects. Working out of the corporate headquarters until January 2014, my key responsibilities included, but were not limited to: coordination with internal teams (design, construction, logistics, finance), vendor management, clientele correspondence, accomplishment of revenue targets by overall project management, developing project budgets and cash flows, preparing project progress reports/management narratives.

I was deputed to Saudi Arabia in January 2014, to work on the firm’s first ever GIS projects outside India. Here, I was primarily responsible for site mobilization, planning, scheduling and administering electrical construction works, and served as the general contractor’s point of contact for all electrical engineering related matters at the job sites. Besides, site management, I was a key enabler in obtaining client approvals for project’s detailed designs and equipment/materials’ submittal.

I resigned from my role at KEC to realize my dreams of pursuing higher education in the field of project management and construction, to which I was drawn to during my stint at the firm.
