In the process of creating a medical directory, we will need each procedure (total of 500 to 600 procedures) to be mapped onto the medical conditions that can be cured by the procedure . And each medical condition mapped to an exhaustive symptoms/signs list. Each procedure should also be mapped onto its different types and approximate length of time taken to execute the procedure.On completion of all the 600 procedures , we will need to come up with a unique symptom list and each symptom mapped to the body part and gender that can/will experience the symptom. Also, each symptom, condition & procedure has to be mapped to the specializations of doctors that can treat the specific symptom/condition/procedure. Example : Hystrectomy (Procedure) treats the following conditions:
Uterine Cancer
Ovarian Cancer
Cervix Cancer
Uterine Prolapse
Endometriosis
Adenomyosis
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Uterine Tumors Each of these condition has a unique symptom list
Types of Hystrectomy with length of each procedure time: 60 to 90 mins Vaginal Hysterectomy
70 to 110 mins Abdominal Hysterectomy
about 2 hrs Laparoscopically Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy
1 to 1.5 hrs Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy (LSH)
1 to 2 hrs Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH)
