Role: Program Manager; Managed entire service delivery falls under Xansa delivery portfolio in BT , United Kingdom. Worked in the partnership model and provided cost effective solution delivery in an OnsiteOffshore model.

I was responsible for transforming business strategies into IT strategies and creating business cases, outlining project portfolio objectives, budgets and creating RFPs. Evaluate responses to the RFP, select a suitable vendor and provide leadership and guidance throughout the projects duration to all team members while reporting on the projects progress to a steering committee.

Details: YW was among the best water companies in UK. Managed the collection, treatment and distribution of water, supplied around 1.24 billion litres of drinking water each day. The LEADA process and systems was used to deliver an economic assessment and optimization of capital maintenance that meets the cost benefit objective of the UKWIR (UK Water Industry Research) common framework.

Details: GEP, Global units spread across the globe had various applications for the GEP, traders and plant operators to maintain the uniformity across the GE sites in Europe, US , Australia and APAC (Asia Pacific).

Role: Sr. Project Manager; responsible for fulfilling the RFP requests from GEP, GECIS and GE Quartz and Silicon and Handling the Enhancement and New Development for all Mnfg Maintenance category applications. Headed the global onsite teams and ensure accomplishment of client’s expectations; managed the offshore teams; initiated and delivered most of the Manufacturing and Maintenance projects apart from performing on IMO vertical as track Leader in global delivery of GEAM offices.

TDR Feed Migration Nov’03–May’04

Details: The Core Data Service would comprised of TDR as a single system for capturing and storing realtime business events and relevant data to support the credit and settlement risk function.

Role: Sr. Project Manager; Responsible for managing the entire project delivery; headed the multiple teams involved in various activities like Configuration Management Team, IT Operations Team, Application Development Team and managed service.

AIMS Messaging Technologies Telecom Mar’03–Oct’03

Details: AIMS Service delivery was responsible for providing technical support to various messaging applications including TPOS, IBM MQ Series, PUBSUB (Publisher Subscriber System), Web methods and JEEP.

Role: Technical Support Head (PM); headed the teams responsible for providing technical support for all trading application users, settlements, confirmation and OTC derivative clients; providing Technical Support for TPOS users; enhancing TPOS using Java.

PCML Aug’02–Feb’03

Client: UBS Warburg, Liverpool Street, London UK

Platform: Sun Solaris 5.7/ 5.8, Oracle, J2EE, JSP, Unix Scripts, IBM Websphere 4.0.

Details: PCML was a middletier application designed to act as an interface between four existing applications used by UBS. Price Source Applications generated the price information, fetched by the PCML application and after subsequent validation was transmitted to the Price Contribution Transmission Layer. PCML also monitored and controlled the price flow, maintained the vendor template information and controlled the price flow. The Price Control Transmission Layers subsequently delivered this price information to Reuters, Telekurs and Bloomberg. PCML application comprised of four modules i.e.

Details: UBS Warburg was a leading investment banking and securities bank which provided a full spectrum of investment banking products to the clients. UBS Warburg provided fundamental analysis and relevant trading strategies on the world economy through research at a global, regional and country level. Memphis Application was a straight through process with an option of piping the high valued cashflows to the exception screens for reviews and relevant intervention of traders and Marketers.

Role: Project Manager; Managed Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 IT teams’; GSD (Global Service Delivery) team supporting various investments banking products like Memphis Settlements, OTC Derivatives, Equity Applications, Memphis Confirmations, RAMBO, and Open Image and also involved in design and development of Marketers Report Application.

Role: Project Leader / Junior Project Manager; accountable for designing, developing and managing the deployment of various functionalities like application administration and online accounts information; coding user module for authorizing the users and creating new users. Responsible for generating all the PM artifacts like PMP, CMP, QP and DR plan. Developed and deployed database interfaces and user interfaces (including Servlet Client).

Virgin Shopper May’00–Jul’00

Client: DigitalRUM, London UK

Platform: Windows NT 4.0, KAWA, JDK 1.1.7, Servlets, XML and Oracle 8.

Details: The project launched a new webbased shopping application, Virgin Shopper, which facilitated online shopping through the call centrethe Internet to the customer. It contained the log details of the customers, vendors and traders. User Interface modules were designed to provide the brand features comparison, User Registration and Brand Features. The integral features of the system include stock level maintenance, payment bill tracking system, tracking user data per brand and performance tracking.

Role: Analyst & Programmer; Modified the existing programs for XML version; Designed & developed Database interfaces to provide call centres the privilege to update existing user records and new user registration, checking authentication of user and pin validation.

Details: The module was developed for the customer who wanted to shop for products from the internet. The integral features of the system included store, stock level maintenance, and payment bill tracking system, purchase accounts and performance tracking.

Role: Developer; Coded the static HTML pages and Servlet classes for creating dynamic HTML pages for mailing system. Java Applets were used for creating userfriendly interfaces and graphics. HTML static pages were designed using Dreamviewer.



RMG Intranet System Mar’97Jun’99

Client: RMG Power Corporation, India

Platform: JDK 1.1.5, RMI, Java 2, JavaScript, JavaWebServer1.1 under Windows NT 4.0, ScoUNIX, Oracle 7.3, SQL, PL/SQL.

Details: Intranet System was designed to view and author performance of MIS reports on the entire activities of the corporation. The system was divided into subwebs on department basis and access permissions were given accordingly.

Role: Developer; prepared case diagrams, coded static HTML pages & Servlets classes for creating HTML pages for mailing system.
