Year: 2004

Location: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Client: LG Electronics India Ltd

Main project features:

Triggered by the loss of one mobile handset in transit, this 6 sigma project revamped the dispatch system at LG Electronics with an advance intimation and picture of the dispatched article being received by the intended recipient of the consignment.

Activities performed:

Need based futuristic internal project completed with Team LG Soft in 6 weeks, for a flawless despatch System, much in line with what ecommerce giants are now adopting, say 15 years later.

Citi’s process consciousness mandates a critical RISK ASSESMENT SELF AUDIT every Quarter. This is a long a process of sampling data for all HR activities including statutory payouts, F&F Settlements, Vendor Bills, Holiday list publication, etc etc.

Main project features:

Due to several Layoff activities there were pending settlements from numerous employees with this recoverable amount running into Crores.

Position/s held: Regional Manager –North Central and Eastern India

Activities performed:

Reporting to the CHRO for this initiative, a whooping recovery of ~4 crore was done in a short span of 45 days. This was the lost revenue of the organisation and was taken up as a revenue generation initiative part of the One-Citi Initiative.
