Growing up in small-towns in Andhra Pradesh, every weekend I was at the cinemas. But, the first time I wanted to be part of the cinemas was when at the end of the film "Bavagaru Bagunnara" along with the credits of the film ran clips from the making of the film. I was hooked. And now 14-years later and having assistant in the making of Paathshala (a Telugu-language feature film) I am more hooked than ever. The principal photography of this film was a challenging experience as this road movie was shot in more than 120 locations often involving public places or large crowds, vehicles and animals. We shot in the blazing heat of the Deccan summer and torrential downpour of the Indian monsoon - ALL THE WHILE telling a story that we passionately believed in.
Now, given an opportunity to work with any esteemed organization, I would like to further expand my knowledge and learn more about the practical aspects of filmmaking.
